Although my clients and I always hope that it will be as far away as possible, it is still inevitable - the day when all false eyelashes must be removed. How to do it correctly, efficiently and as pleasantly as possible?
Perfect prep work, glueing and aftercare are all factors that are crucial to making permanent lashes last as long as possible. What the glue has bonded together, one does not divide, even so, there will always come a day when the old false eyelashes need to be completely removed and new ones glued on, or correction is desirable, or it can even be the end of wearing eyelash extensions as such at the customer's request. In extreme cases, you may even find yourself in a situation where the client has an allergic reaction to the glue and the only solution is to remove the false eyelashes. In order to make removing false lashes easy and to avoid unnecessary and uncomfortable tugging for my clients, I rely on the Gel Lashes PRO Remover , which makes my job much easier.
My tip: Why don't eyelashes hold? Remind yourself of these 5 principles for working with glue, which I wrote about here.
How to do it?
Working with remover is easy, so let's talk about how to use it properly when removing false eyelashes. Caution - it is necessary that the client keeps her eyes closed during the entire removal process.
We will need:
- Although the remover is gentle on the skin, it's always a good idea to use eye pads to keep the eye area as protected as possible.
-
Using a pump, squeeze a small amount of remover onto a microbrush and apply it to the glued joints at the roots of the lashes.
-
Leave the remover for about 3 minutes. If this is not sufficient, you can extend the time a little longer.
-
After the necessary time has elapsed, start removing the eyelashes either by wiping them with a dry micro-brush or by grasping the fans with tweezers and gently removing them. The false eyelashes should come off almost on their own, but make sure to be very gentle and careful and never pull on the client's lashes.
-
Once you have removed the lashes, make sure all the glue residue is completely gone. The natural lashes are then cleaned and rinsed with clean water.
Practical tip: The eyelash mousse helps you to clean your lashes precisely and is also suitable as an ongoing treatment while wearing permanent lashes.
How does the remover work?
Make-up removers are for make-up, nail polish remover gets rid of nail polish, and lash glue is removed with a special remover. This is designed to effectively break the bond between the natural and false eyelashes without the painful pulling, plucking or tugging that accompanies removal. In addition, its innovative formula guarantees maximum safety even in the sensitive area around the eyes. Thus, a visit to the lash stylist will always be pleasant thanks to the remover, not only when gluing on new lashes but also when removing old ones, a process that clients often do not look forward to precisely because of the fear of pain.
The remover is thus another indispensable bottle in my cosmetic case, along with a quality glue and primer, I believe you will love it as much as I do.
