Some people just need a minimum of care and feel great, others have tried everything possible but are still not satisfied with their appearance. So what's the secret to personal glamour?
The right and effective make-up is of course important for a perfect look, but it's not everything. As with many other things in life, a flawless look requires persistence and regularity. And it's best to start with the basics, so let's take a more comprehensive look at the eyes and their surroundings together.
I'll advise you on how to avoid common mistakes and what not to neglect when caring for one of the most important sensory organs. I promise that when you point your eyes in the right direction, no one will be able to resist you!
Eyelashes long enough to reach the sky
If we were to sum up what women crave the most, we would probably agree that it's eating and not gaining weight and then also having beautiful hair and long, prominent eyelashes. Of course, take this with a grain of salt, but eyelashes really are the element that has the biggest impact on our radiant and irresistible look.
Some people have thick eyelashes by nature, for the rest of us there are fortunately miracles of modern cosmetics. A classic that everyone probably has at home is mascara. Waterproof, lengthening, for sensitive eyes - it doesn't really matter what you choose, the important thing is that the brush shape suits you and that it's easy to handle.
My personal tip: If you don't want to scare the man of your dreams with your look, brush mascara over your lashes just a few times. Unsightly glued-on "fly's feet" instead of beautiful, separate lashes have never been fashionable (although many ladies and women briefly tried it at the turn of the millennium).
And what to do if you don't have time for a big make-up job, but want to look perfect in the morning - or when you come out of the sea - you don't want a black smudge around your eyes! Then there is the convenient option of applying false eyelashes. Search in your neighborhood and put yourself in the hands of an experienced lash artist who will conjure up extended eyelashes from your fine and bland eyelashes, which at first glance will enchant everyone.

Eyebrows just right
Fortunately, the days of thick, prominent eyebrows or almost invisible eyebrows plucked into a thin line are long gone.
Nowadays, the trend is for a natural look that complements your hair colour. If you're a brunette and have brown eyebrows, that's fine. It's mostly women with fair skin types and light hair who have problems with eyebrow colour. Blondes, redheads, and even some brunettes have eyebrows that are almost invisible. In this case, it is a good idea to learn how to shade the eyebrows with a darker eyebrow pencil, or to resort to slightly more permanent methods of highlighting such as using eyebrow colour or microblading (i.e. semi-permanent tattooing of tiny hairs that imitate eyebrows).
If your eyebrows are rampant, your best friend is probably a pair of tweezers, which can easily remove excess and overhanging hairs. The downside is definitely the pain that accompanies plucking, but if you can manage to pull out the hair and the root, you won't have to worry about it for a long time.
In salons, waxing or shaping the eyebrows with a sharp razor is also used. However, one unfortunate slip of the hand and it can be a disaster, so don't try it at home!

The eyebrows are one of the elements of our face that is important to our expression, so any mistake in grooming can ruin a perfect look. You don't want to look surprised for days, do you?
Natural is sexy - even in makeup!
Although it doesn't seem like it when you watch beauty influencers or bloggers, natural and nude makeup is still in fashion. Extravagant wide liners and coloured shadows up to your eyebrows are not likely to make you the star of the party, but the one everyone will laugh at. Bold makeup is not suitable for everyday wear and most of the stuff you find on YouTube or Instagram is just made for a good shot or photo.
My personal tip: When wearing make-up, keep it rather modest and unobtrusive. Most surveys show that men appreciate a natural look anyway. This doesn't mean that we shouldn't wear makeup, but just do it in a way that men can't tell. So-called "no makeup" makeup, you know what I mean, right? ;-)
For eyeshadow, choose mainly soft earthy tones to match your skin type. You don't need a bunch of glitter or makeup to shine, so use a blender to blend your shadows smoothly and get a palette with a matte effect. You can apply a small amount of glitter to the inner corner of the eye at the end. It will visually brighten it up.
You can accentuate the brow line by using a light eyeshadow. This will make your eyes look bigger and brighter.
In addition to shadows, you can invite eyeliner into the game for the most beautiful look, but be careful not to conjure up a panda lok instead of a seductive cat eye. Liner belongs on the upper lid, not in the corner, and definitely not on the lower lid. You could get away with this makeup look at the start of your millennium, but it's long past its sell-by date in 2021.

The eye area - only laugh lines are allowed!
The day when we are surprised to discover the first tiny wrinkles around our eyes in front of the mirror awaits each of us. Age is relentless and the sensitive skin around the eyes is simply more prone to wrinkles than other parts of the face. The premature appearance of deeper and more visible wrinkles can be at least partially prevented with the right care.
My personal tip: Invest in a good quality eye cream and take plenty of time before bed to carefully exfoliate and gently massage the temple area and around the eyes. You can take help from popular face rollers or gua sha cut stones.
From time to time, you can also treat yourself to a professional facial massage or try a facial yoga session.
Getting enough sleep also contributes to a healthy-looking eye area. Get a satin eye mask or a cool gel compress, and get at least 7 hours of sleep if possible. It's hard to get the man of your dreams with bags under your puffy eyes!
Window to the soul
The eyes are one of the parts of the body we notice most when we come into contact with other people. The eye-to-eye look is indispensable for understanding messages and for interpersonal relationships in general. Not to mention that a properly directed and timed gaze can also be one seductive as hell.
What is definitely not attractive is squinting into the sun or puffy and red eyes. To maintain a seductive and sparkling gaze, your eyes need to be in good shape in the first place, so don't overdo it with the staring at the monitor, partying until dawn. Have the pharmacy recommend suitable eye drops to moisturise and relieve irritation, and have your eyes checked regularly by your GP or eye doctor.
No need to be ashamed of your glasses! Many men find them sexy, plus they'll make you look like an intellectual. There are endless models on the market, and you're sure to find the one that suits you best. And if you don't feel like wearing glasses, go for contact lenses that will relieve your eyes while remaining discreetly invisible.
Don't forget that what radiates from us is also extremely important, so trust yourself and love yourself. A good mood and a smile is the most beautiful thing a woman can wear, and it doesn't cost a penny.
